Racism is one of the political and social problems faced around the world. Actually it is not a problem but a deep rooted ill feeling about others colour, race, religion or caste. Over centuries many people are subjected to racism regarding their physical qualities like color or any physical disformilities.
Color of person is one the reason raciest remarks passed. Pre-independence period was filled with color discrimination events like not allowing lower or dark skinned colored people inside their house. This was not only in India but all over the world. U.S.A was another nation were racism was practiced. Afro-americican were not allowed to set on white people chair or attend churches where white people would attend. These events shows that color discrimination was practiced which is a part of racism.
Religion is another cause of racism the clear example is hindu-muslim ravliray which was feed into our minds by the British. In this kind people are intolerant towards each others  religion and pass racist remark. Coming back to modern times this kind of racism is still exists in our society, deep rooted.  Though our freedom fighters fought together but the past events do bring back racism among religion, which is not good for our nation or society.
Physical or mental handicap persons are too subjected to racist remarks and racism. I have seen children or teens who just want to stay away from persons who are different from them in physical or in a mental way. Either they treat them as inferior or pass racist remarks on them. If you or anybody does this we need to stop because at the end of the day all are humans. They too have feelings.
At the end of the day Racism exists everywhere from east to west, from north to south. Even in today’s world we direct or indirectly practice racism.Racsim cases problems regarding peace, unity brotherhood. To stop racism we should be decimating and start uniting. And we should respect those who try to fight racism in all possible way like Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela At the end of the day we all are humans.
